Joshua's Law: We offer classes tailored to first-time drivers and teens working toward earning their driver’s license. Our state certified classes are designed to meet the strict requirements of “Joshua’s Law” for teen drivers. This includes 30 hours of classroom, and 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel instruction with our certified and licensed instructors using our specially equipped vehicles.
Our flexible, module based classes mean there is no waiting to join—even if a class has already begun! Missed modules may be made up at any time they are available.
Upon Completion of our Joshua’s Law course, students will be issued the certificate required to apply for tax and insurance purposes. This certificate will also be needed when applying for a new Class D driver’s license.

Defensive Driving: Driving is a privilege. Numerous violations of traffic laws, driving dangerously or negligently can result in that privilege being legally taken away. Often, the best way to regain driving privileges is to take a state approved Defensive Driving or Driver Improvement course. Some reasons for attending ABC Driving School's course include:
- Point Reduction
- Suspensions and Revocations
- Court Ordered
- Insurance Discounts
- Job Requirement
The Defensive Driving/Driver Improvement course offered by ABC Driving School offers several benefits. These include:
- May take once every five years to remove up to seven points. (Points stay on license for two years)
- Meets the education requirement for clearance of suspensions
- Possible insurance discount of up to 10% off premiums with a three year clean driving record
- Possible reduction of fine. The court may reduce fines up to 20% and zero point count the ticket. This is entirely up to the judge and is tied to a person's driving history.
- Job security. Some companies require their employees to take a defensive driving course. There is a twofold advantage to this:
- The company gets an insurance discount, and
- The driver may get the insurance discount at the company's expense.
Adult New Driver Training: This is a driving training program designed specifically for adult drivers who are learning to drive. The program includes 10 hours of behind-the-wheel driver training with one of our state certified instructors in our specially equipped training vehicle. Also included is enrollment in one of our scheduled 6-hour
Defensive Driving classes. That makes a total of 16 hours of driver training. All for only $740!
